This event engulfs the whole of Faro and the surrounding areas of the Algarve. 2009 will be this events 28th anniversary. The celebrations take place annually in the month of July for a duration of 4 days. Some 40,000 motorcyclists travel from far and wide to attend this event. I have known people both male and female to travel from as far as Australia and Finland on their motorbikes. The bands and entertainers come from many countries and are as famous as Motorhead from the UK. Its Europe's Mecca to motorcyclists.
