  • An Indonesian restaurant with interesting deco.

  • An amazing fondue place with a great atmosphere. You can order a steak with your fondue and cook it how you like!

  • The best steak I've eaten. Several branches around the town, but head to the central square for the main one - great atmosphere on three floors.

  • Pancake House, the decor is cosy and original with art nouveau lamps hanging over the tables, black and white pictures of Hollywood stars on the walls. The staff are young and friendly. The delicious pancakes are cooked to order with a large variety of both sweet and savoury fillings. The most delicious are served with a pot of advocaat!

  • Possibly the most delicious chocolates in the world. Flavours range from the finest interpretations of classics to the odd-sounding but out of this world Lemongrass. Your wallet will be lighter but your taste buds in heaven.

  • Excellent small restaurant on a street with lots of good restaurants - medium priced. The platter of starters is a good choice to split between two people.

  • Located in an old warehouse, about 2 mins from the Anne Frank Museum, this place is definitely well worth a visit. They make omelettes and pancakes - both savoury and sweet - and have over 75 different varieties to choose from. They have menus in English, and the waitress that served us spoke perfect English - really helpful if your Dutch isn't up to decoding all the speciality ingredients listed in their menus! The prices are very reasonable as well - check out their website (available in English) for a pdf menu and location map.
