Not far from the cathedral and in a picture-perfect setting next to the Jardines de Murillo, this tapas bar is part of the very up-market Basque restaurant that it adjoins – Egaña Oriza.
Bar Juanito, Jerez

This bar is famous for the best tapas in town. Try fideos con gambas (noodles with prawns).
Bar La Farola, Ronda

This traditional tapas bar serves wonderful chipirones (baby squid), berenjenas (aubergine/ eggplant) and mouth-watering chorizos (paprika sausages).

Barbacoa Coloniales

On a pleasant square, between the Iglesia San Salvador and the Convento de Santa Paula, lies this old-fashioned bar. The walls are decorated with faded photos of Seville in an earlier era.
Bodega Francisco, Almuñécar

A forest of ham shanks hanging from the ceiling greets the eye, along with barrels of fino behind the bar in this traditional tapas bar. The attached restaurant next door, Francisco II, serves full meals.
Bodegas Quitapenas, Torremolinos

An excellent seafood tapas bar amid all the fast-food joints. Spanish seafood, including pulpo (octopus).
