  • This hotel occupies a 16th-century palace, beautifully restored and set off with priceless antiques and paintings.

  • This hotel enjoys a view of the coast. Rooms facing the mountains are generally larger or with a Jacuzzi to compensate.

  • Hotel Playa Victoria, Cádiz

A highrise hotel with a swimming pool over the beach. It’s in the new city, but it’s a pleasant walk to the old town.

  • Hotel Porfirio is a short walk from Zahara beach, with an excellent traditional restaurant; family rooms from £115

  • Hotel Posada de Vallina, Córdoba

The hotel is located facing the southern wall of La Mezquita, in an old converted mansion. According to archaeologists, the site dates back to Roman times. The rooms are all relatively spacious, if simple, and there’s an excellent restaurant featuring local dishes.

  • Everything has been kept more or less the same as when the poet Garcia Lorca was forced to hide out here – this is the last place the poet stayed, before his untimely end (see Federico García Lorca). Each room has unique style and there are patios and fountains in the public areas.

  • A vast resort offering every facility you can think of amid its gardens and neo-Moorish splendours, including several swimming pools, one for children, and a playground.

  • A wonderful boutique hotel in central Malaga close to the Bus and Train Stations and the main shopping areas.

The reception lobby and breakfast room are very tastefully decorated in a contemporary and trendy style, there is also a relaxation area with couches for reading and free internet access.

The rooms are well appointed with avant-garde design, and there can be no confusion regarding your room number, as the hotel room doors are fitted with large metallic numbers which cover the entire door surface!

Each stay is a truly unique experience!

  • In the historic Ciudad and built in 1736 this converted mansion, with its original coat of arms and handsome façade, offers remarkably sumptuous rooms for the price.

  • This restored 18th-century mansion is beautiful and quite good value. You’ll find all the signature Sevillian features, including a fern-filled patio, antiques, and a definite sense of style and class. It’s right next to the cathedral, too. Not all rooms have en-suite facilities.
