  • Incomplete but still beautiful and awe inspiring cathedral, has to be seen! Just a pity Gaudi isn't here for me to meet as I'd loved to have a chat with him!

  • Park Laberint

When i first went there on this wonderful saturday morning, i couldn't believe that i would find myself in the most amazing park i have ever been.

It really is stunning, the laberint was quite confusing; there were young just married couples letting take pictures of them, and it really was more like a fairy tale forest were you would like to picturice that day.

While being in the park, i honestly didn't think that the big city was so close to me, it was so quiet, only birds were singing.

  • Port Adventura

Port Adventura is perfect for the thrill seeker in everyone. Divided into four sections the park has many different rides and attractions on offer. You could get a taste of the oriental in China town or go back in time to a era where mining was still a profitable job career.

  • This is a fantastic sight but not very well publicised. The fountains play to music and lights. It is usually only on in a weekend, check website for details, usually about 8:00pm. The last time I saw it the finale was played to Barcelona (Freddie Mercury & Monserrat Cabbelia). It's a real spine tingler and well worth looking. Whats more it's absolutely free.

  • Tibidabo Avenue,Mountain and Funfair

Situated on the highest zone of Barcelona is one of the mandatory visite!!! You can see Barcelona from the air! it's really beautiful! Perfect for a romantic break...a dinner in La Masia restaurant...you'll see the Mediterranean Ocean and the Pyrinees...

You can arrive there by Bus, by car or "Tramvia Blau"(tramcar) to the feet of the mountain, and to continue continue by "funicular" to the top.

On the top you can have a delicious meal in the restaurant or have fan in the Park!!! The Park best-known attractions are the ferris wheel, the airplane (one of the first flight simulators), the Watchtower, the Hotel Kruger and, as new, the Pèndol (an arm that falls since 38 m of height being displaced in fact pendulum), the DIDIDADO (a cinema with capacity for 70 people where can enjoy itself a movie in 4D, (effective of light, sound, air and water and all the effect of the 4D)...so Have FUN!!!

But if you don't like Funparks or high mountains ther'e a beautiful place to go...Tibidabo Avenue...this is a real magical, beautiful and romantic place...just a walk and you'll feel something really special. Tibidabo Avenue appears in Carlos Ruíz Zafón best seller "La sombra del Viento" (The Shadow of the Wind)
