Ständige Vertretung

The name harks back to the permanent West German representation in East Berlin, but the drinks are bang up to date.
Strandbar Mitte

Despite its name, this bar is a Kneipe, where in the summer you can enjoy a cold beer or one of the inexpensive cocktails outdoors. Frequented by a young and trendy crowd who love to make a noise, the bar serves some of the best cocktails in Berlin.
Telecafé Fernsehturm

Enjoy a snack in the skies above Berlin; the café does a full rotation every 45 minutes.
Trompete

This trendy bar, which belongs to the actor Ben Becker, has very quickly established itself as the place to be. The bar, with its soft leather armchairs and settees and completely black walls, is relaxed and comfortable. At weekends, Trompete hosts live concerts ranging from jazz and salsa to house.
Van Loon

Enjoy a snack surrounded by nautical artifacts on this old barge moored in Urbanhafen. In summer you can sit on the green banks to drink your beer.
Windhorst

Trendy cocktail bar – classy, elegant, good.
Wirtschaftswunder

The “Economic Miracle” is a 1950s-revival venue, fitted with formica furniture and kidney-shaped tables.
Wirtshaus Schildhorn

Nouvelle cuisine in Grunewald. In summer you can enjoy your bratwurst outside, in a picturesque spot right on the shoreline at Wannsee.
Wirtshaus zur Pfaueninsel

A small venue, serving rustic German food in the open air. This is an ideal place for refreshments before a visit to Pfaueninsel.
Würgeengel

The drinks at the “Angel of Death” are not in fact, lethal, but bar and clientele are straight out of a Buñuel film.
