The Glienicke Bridge connects Berlin and Potsdam, spanning the Havel River near Klein Glienicke.
It is best known as the site of three prisoner exchanges between the Soviet Union and the United States during the Cold War. The first such incident happened on February 10, 1962, when the U.S. exchanged Russian spy Colonel Rudolf Ivonovich Abel for Francis Gary Powers, who had been piloting a U-2 spy plane that was shot down over the USSR in 1960.

Beautiful and historic ladmarcs. Spandau Prison was where Hess, one of Hitlers henchmen died in prison as the sole prisoner. Take it from somewone who was brought up in Berlin with a forces family, Berlin is a magical place with amazing architecture and life.
