This will be our 6th visit to Berlin during the Ladies Tennis Open (so we obviously enjoy it)which we usually visit on 2 days. We have enjoyed good weather each visit and if you attend early in the week, buy you tickets at the gate, there is no hassle. Service buses from the centre of town drop you almost on the doorstep or you can walk it from Olivaer Platz in about 40 mins. The club is set in a lovely area on the edge of a lake. Berlin is a super city to explore on foot or by the efficient public transport system. Don't worry if your German is a bit rusty as English is spoken everywhere, of course your efforts wil be appreciated. Do a city tour by bus and a boat trip at the beginning of your stay to get a flavour of the city and plot where you'll visit during the rest of your stay. We have used the Citadines Aparthotel on the past 3 visits and are happy to be using it again this year.
