  • Arcadi

If you're brave enough to withstand the terrible service, the food is exceptional and its perfectly located for a lunchtime break. Delicious quiches, including aubergine (eggplant), courgette, chicken and coriander, spinach and courgette can be followed with divine puddings and leisurely drinks.

  • is a cheerfully simple tavern serving bowls of moules for €11 (£8.50).

  • Cheap but very tasty food, an excellent ambience, outdoor and indoor eating (non-smooking inside!) and great staff who don't rush you or force the food or menu down your throats. Fab!

  • Unfortunately, I can't remeber the name of the restaurant, but it's next to the Merode Metro station and they serve very cheap, very filling and very nutritious Lebanese food (especially the especially yummy Fatoush salad!)

  • Italian restaurant just off the Grand Place Eat on the main level at the big table with others... you meet some very interesting people there.. food is excellent, so is the ambiance, very casual - we ate there twice in 6 nights...excellent wine selection

  • Finally, a typical Belgian restaurant in the heart of Brussels, without the tourist prices or presence. Fantastic food, friendly staff and a nice buzz to the place. We'll definitely be back!
