If you’re not in the mood to buy, marvel instead at the beautifully made treasures in the Museum of Traditional Embroidery and Silversmithing.
Lefkara Circular Trail

Lefkara, with its old stone cottages, is seen at its best from above. This uphill short stroll – only 3 km (2 miles) and about 90 minutes there and back – leads from the village’s main street to the hilltop chapel of Metamorfosis tou Sotiros (Transfiguration of the Saviour) and views that sweep over Lefkara and the Agios Minas monastery.

Unique to Cyprus, this broad-leafed flower (astragalus macrocarpus lefkarensis ) is found only in the wooded hills around Lefkara.
