  • This functional suite hotel, overlooking the Municipal Gardens, is handy for the town centre.

  • Chrysanthia is a larger-than-average family villa – it can sleep up to eight people in air-conditioned comfort, with its own pool and off-road parking, close to the sea and the harbour at Latsi.

  • Located on a “Blue Flag” beach, the Columbia has a children’s playground and pool, and offers baby-sitting services. There are also water sports and a tennis court. It is next door to the larger resort hotel under the same management (see Columbia Beach Resort, Pissouri).

  • More than 100 luxury suites, all built with recycled earthenware tiles in the style of a traditional village. All the suites have their own kitchen and open-plan dining area, but buffet breakfast is included in the rate. Smaller suites, which sleep two to three people, can be connected to create family accommodation.

  • Overlooking Coral Bay, this complex of studios and one-bedroom apartments has a fine location and a good choice of facilities, including a restaurant, bar, pool and even room service.

  • This large and comfortable “home away from home” has better facilities than most villas, including the luxury of satellite TV, as well as air-conditioned bedrooms and, naturally, a pool. Coral Bay, the Akamas beaches and Pafos are all within easy reach.

  • Well located and elegant the Hilton is the only 5 star hotel in Nicosia. it provides a variety of top quality indoor and outdoor dining.

  • Standing high above Tochni is this traditionally designed complex of eight one-bedroomed cottages, each with a sitting room, verandah or balcony, as well as a shared pool.

  • The Daphne, not far from Pafos harbour and very much in the centre of things, has a loyal following of guests who come back year after year. Affordable, friendly and well-managed, it has clean, bright one- and two-bed apartments and studios which overlook a sunny pool.

  • Demetra Hotel Apartments, Pafos

This comfortable combination of hotel and self-catering complex in the centre of Pafos is well-kept and prettily decorated. It has a surprisingly grand restaurant on its ground floor, as well as a pleasant pavement café.
