Aphrodites Rock, paphos

One of the most stunning parts of the Cypriot coastline, also the birth place of Aphrodite. Legend has it that this is where the Goddess of Love emerged from the sea, and everywhere she stepped between here and Paphos itself, sprang life, and that's why Paphos district is so fertile. It lies just east of Paphos.
