  • A café-style restaurant and bar on the seafront road, it serves excellent shrimp along with drinks, in the open as well as indoors. Open late, until the last customer leaves.

  • Primarily a restaurant, Barrio Latino is also a swinging bar that stays open until midnight.

  • Set in the Pueblo de los Pescadores, this is a pleasant seafront bar and a popular meeting place. Owners Vero and Alex are expert at blending amazing, large drinks.

  • This beachside bar and café-style restaurant at the Pueblo de los Pescadores is a perfect night spot. Jazz, reggae as well house music are usually played on weekends.

  • A Spanish restaurant on the beach under the shade of palm trees. A wonderful setting to enjoy the tapas bar or sample the extensive wine list.

  • Le Café de Paris

    Good for light snacks as well as alcoholic beverges. A pleasant location, ideal for watching the boats in the harbor, sipping a cocktail, and listening to loud rock music.

  • During weekends and fiestas this waterside boulevard springs into action at night, when bars and stalls serving beer and rum appear along its length.

  • The only disco in town, popular with the Dominicans because of its merengue and Latin music. But watch out for the prices, as tourists usually end up paying more.

  • This lovely spot on the beach is run by French proprietor Michelle. There ia an impressive bar, and a dance floor, right on the pristine sand. At weekends there’s live jazz and on week days the DJ plays house and soul until dawn (see Syroz, Las Terrenas).

  • The hotel bar is decorated in tropical style, and there’s a variety of music including live shows. Tapas is a perfect choice with your cocktails. Golf and petanque are also available.
