a beautiful island just off the coast (but attached by road) of the west of Ireland. it has mile long beaches as well as hidden beaches,hidden lakes and beautiful scenery. dolphins are also there quite often during the summer months. a beautiful place to go and well worth a visit!

Wander around Grafton Street with lively high end shopping emporia and street theatre, take a break in a coffee shop and take a walk around the side streets and in Stephens Green at the south end of the street.

Set in the heart of Connemara, Minna is a proper country town with a shop, school, church and a handful of houses. If you head for the beach you will find idyllic, secluded coves perfect for some private sunbathing, well until the students from the Gaelteacht arrive.

this is a stunning, long promenade north of Galway city, where you can swim in the sea, or just walk along the beach and look out over the bay. It was a very pleasant surprise on leaving Galway and driving North to County Mayo.
