The setting of Ballinalacken is stunning and quite convenient to The Burren Way whish is immediately outside the gates, Doolin and the Ocean. Offsetting this a bit are the rooms (in the new wing they are quite ordinary) the food (also very ordinary-the fish was quite overcooked) and the service-with a smile but poor.
