A joyously tacky and tawdry strip, the Golden Mile, Hong Kong’s own Broadway, runs up the Kowloon peninsula, passing hotels and tourist shops at the upscale southern end, before downgrading into the sleazy karaoke lounges and low-rent storefronts of central Kowloon.
