The Entertainment Capital of the World offers just about everything: the world’s largest hotels; the brightest stars in show business; shops and restaurants that rival any on earth. It’s true, too, that the lights are brighter in Las Vegas. Yet you don’t have to go far from the glamour and glitter to find the natural beauty of lakes and the desert as well.

Three golden towers that sparkle in the desert sunshine, this hotel has the WOW factor! All rooms are suites with balconies and have the most comfortable beds. All mod cons provided with the bathroom alone as big as a small apartment. My top tip? Indulge in a spa bath big enough for two while watching TV - bliss after the hustle and bustle of Fabulous Las Vegas. Can't wait to go back!

Recently redone in a style mirroring the glory that was Rome, the spa incorporates Roman baths and other touches of imperial luxury. In addition to the myriad treatments on offer for both men and women, there are weight-training facilities, a fitness center with climbing wall, and a yoga studio.

It would be a shame (if hard) to miss the 10-story sphinx (larger than the original) guarding the Luxor Hotel-Casino. The best view of this Las Vegas landmark is as you come in to land at McCarran International Airport.
-
A perennial winner of Casino Player Magazine’s best steak house award. It resembles a Victorian railroad parlor car with 19th-century-style gas lamps.
-
The neon artery of gambling pulses with excitement. Imaginatively themed resorts make it a street that never sleeps.
-
The Italian Renaissance revisited. Minstrels and nobility stroll among the Venetian landmarks; gondoliers glide by.
-
The hotel is 'glamour' and 'comfort' personified as it feels like walking into a surreal world. It is vast, with various attractions integral at the hotel itself ie shows, casino and club but the location means you can wander around to other attractions nearby. It is worth a visit as the building itself is unique and it encloses an array of shops, restaurants, you can even have a 'gondola' ride in the canal. I can highly recommend the hotel and of course, Las Vegas' as well.
-
Whether or not the Venetian really evokes accurate images of Venice is beside the point: the sum of the hotel’s parts adds up to an aesthetically pleasing whole.
-
The gondoliers sing as they pole their boats, and when not on the water they roam the casino harmonizing Italian arias.
-
A fanciful recreation of an Ancestral Pueblo, this landmark structure was designed by regional architect Mary Colter in 1932. The upper floor of the stone-built tower is decorated with Hopi murals. A gift store and refreshments are available. Other Colter designs in the area include Hopi House, Hermit’s Rest, the Lookout Studio, and the cabins at Phantom Ranch lodge.
