  • With more than 1,700 slot and video-poker machines, the Santa Fe also has a large non-smoking area. People who suffer from claustrophobia in casinos will find relief here, where ceilings are high and small groups of machines are located near the main entrance. During gaming breaks, watch the skaters at the Santa Fe ice rink.

  • A mid-size gambling floor (1,700 slots), the Santa Fe is patronized primarily by locals and is one of the more pleasant casinos beyond the neon.

  • Houseboats in various sizes and with excellent facilities can be rented here. All houseboaters have to bring on deck are food and clothing.

  • Studio 54

Like its Manhattan namesake, Studio 54 attracts celebrities. Some of them even make impromptu stage appearances. Most nights, DJ Frankie officiates over the four dance floors and bars; special theme nights cater for different tastes. Additional entertainment is provided by performers suspended from bungees above the crowds.

  • Sunset Station

Primarily patronized by local residents, Sunset Station is located across from the Galleria at Sunset shopping mall. The casino is light and well-ventilated. It also has a Kids’ Quest (nursery) on the premises.

  • Sunset Station

Mediterranean-themed casino with wrought-iron balconies. Natural light makes it more pleasant than most.

  • Texas Station

The theme is of a 19th-century town in the Lone Star state of Texas, with wagon wheels and gunpowder barrels.

  • This north Las Vegas nightclub gets swingin’ on Sunday afternoons with dancing to favorite swing tunes. On Fridays and Saturdays, the house band “Love Shack” plays popular classics from the 1980s.

  • The Beach

With waitresses in bikinis and two floors decorated in an ocean and surfing theme, the Beach is a complete entertainment complex. Dancing, a restaurant, a sports bar, and a sports book make this off-Strip club a favorite with the younger crowd.

  • VooDoo Lounge

Smaller than the hotel’s Club Rio, the VooDoo Lounge offers live music and a dazzling view of the Strip. There’s a cover charge for guests not dining in the VooDoo Café.
