Black Canyon Kayak Trip

Red Rock Canyon

A quick 20 minute drive from the madness of the strip takes you here to Red Rock Canyon, an amazing conservation area made up of large red sandstone formations. You can drive around the canyon, stopping along the way at various points to get out and follow the trails allowing you to get up close to the canyon. Its a great place to relax and chill out and relax in a city thats renowned for exactly the opposite.
Valley Of Fire State Park.

This is a beautiful red rock park about 50 minutes north east of Las Vegas. You can drive, park you car and walk between pure red stone mountains. At certain points there are plenty of indian petroglyphs to view and touch. Been here twice and just love, love it. My husband and I are seniors so we cannot usually walk trails to get to beautiful places. The Valley of Fire trails are very easy to reach and beautiful.
