The longest running show in Las Vegas began in 1979, a century after the Paris production hit the stage. Like the original, the Vegas show is predicated upon glamorous showgirls wearing spangles, sequins, and little else. The production numbers are lavish, the music tuneful. While the first show each evening is suitable for families, the second is topless.
