  • 1. Reflection Bay Golf Club

Nominated frequently by golf magazines as one of the top 10 courses in the USA, Reflection Bay, designed by the great Jack Nicklaus, follows 1.5 miles (2.5 km) of the Lake Las Vegas shoreline. Great views of the lake and million-dollar hillside homes are an added bonus.

  • 2. The Legacy Golf Course

The host to the US Open Qualifying tournament is a popular course with convention delegates, and combines Scottish links-style golf with the dramatic desert vegetation of Nevada. The course highlight is the Devil’s Triangle (holes 11–13).

  • 3. DragonRidge Golf Course

With its manicured fairways, bent-grass greens, and dramatic elevation changes, DragonRidge offers some of the most spectacular views in the valley. The course is private, with limited public play.

  • 4. Bali Hai Golf Club

Just steps away from the Mandalay Bay and Four Seasons hotels, the course features thick stands of palm trees, large water hazards, tropical plants, and flowers in its South Seas design.

  • 5. Angel Park Golf Clubs

The Palm and the Mountain, this club’s two 18-hole championship layouts designed by legendary American golfer Arnold Palmer, have been described as the “world’s most complete golf experience.” A night-lighted driving range, 18-hole putting course, and golf school form part of the complex.

  • 6. Las Vegas Paiute Resort

This was the first master-planned multicourse golf resort on Native American land. The Snow and Sun Mountain courses were designed by Pete Dye, who has designed 11 of the world’s top 100 courses.

  • 7. Desert Willow Golf Club

This challenging course is carved from the foothills of the Black Mountains and surrounded by hazards and hilly terrain.

  • 8. Las Vegas National Golf Club

Established in 1961, this was the scene of champion Tiger Woods’ first PGA (Professional Golf Association) victory in the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational. Soft spikes are preferred (some Las Vegas courses prohibit spikes of any kind).

  • 9. Royal Links Golf Club

The course features holes inspired by famous holes on the Open courses in Great Britain. All the golf carts are equipped with GPS (Global Positioning Systems).

  • 10. The Revere at Anthem

Winding through three desert canyons, this course features natural changes in elevation and spectacular views of the Las Vegas skyline. The summer rates, as at many Las Vegas courses, are considerably lower than those charged at other times of the year.
