  • City Inn Westminster

Ideally located next to the River Thames, the Tate Britain and the London Eye, this award-winning 4-star hotel combines stylish, contemporary design, luxurious modern accommodation and superb facilities.

The City Inn Westminster combines a passion for modern design and innovation with an understanding of the needs of contemporary living. Each room has a newly installed iMac in-room multimedia entertainment system. This stylish and innovative system is both an entertainment system and a computer, allowing you to work or play. Surf the web; watch digital TV; listen to digital radio; play CDs and DVDs; or use it like an ordinary iMac.

The stunning facilities include a critically-acclaimed restaurant, offering innovative European cuisine in stylish surroundings, and boasting an attractive open-air terrace. There is a well-equipped fitness room

  • Extremely comfortable, stylish and central hotel from which to enjoy the delights of London

  • This is a modern hotel, built recently, with good views over London, especially from the terrace bar on the executive floor.

Provides the usual comprehensive "Hilton breakfast".

  • The Hoxton opened in 2006 and was created by an owner who disliked faceless hotels and knew there should be an alternative. The Hoxton Hotel describes itself as an 'urban lodge' which seems apt as it is hard to label. They also say 'budget luxury' but I think that might detract from just how cool this place is. Sure, it's well-priced and there are no hidden costs but it's also a hip, designer hotel with an industrial feel. The Hoxton is funky, great value, and very welcoming.

  • Real value for money offers and great quality and location.

  • Ocklynge Manor

Bed and breakfast in Eastbourne. Very good facilities, home cooking (including cakes and jams) and nothing is forgotten about.

  • As a Hilton Hotel, rooms & amenitites are quite nice, though expensive. This hotel is worth every cent for location alone. It is actually connected to the Paddington Station, which is fantastic. After arriving at Heathrow, you can simply take the Heathrow Express right to the hotel; no wandering about the streets searching for the hotel-- it has an entrance in the station. Very convenient. Paddington is also a great place to stay because it has numerous tube lines-- so it is really easy to get around.
The Hilton is lovely and there are lots of amenities in the neighborhoods. This hotel has large, spacious marbled-tiled bathrooms. The hotel has a surprisingly modern interior-- it was recently remodeled and everything is spacious and streamlined. Nicely, the mini-fridge has room to add a few munchies from the Marks & Spencers food shop downstairs.

  • A wonderful welcoming hotel that is a calm oasis in the middle of busy Mayfair

  • Close to everything in the city but tucked away on a quiet street. A small boutique hotel but warm and friendly.

  • The Clink Hostel

Unlike some other big hostels in London, the Clink Hostel packs plenty of people in without ever feeling like an impersonal 'bed factory'.

That's partly down to the setting - it's housed in the old Clerkenwell Magistrates' Court (the guest computers are in a courtroom, and you can even spend the night in a cell) - and partly down to some pretty slick facilities. There's a large communal kitchen, a jumping bar, a variety of different dorm sizes and a brightly coloured, airy feel throughout.

Finally, an excellent location - within walking distance of King's Cross station - and affordable prices make it one of the best budget places to stay in London.
