  • If you like colour, bustle, shopping, browsing, eating, looking and an assault on the senses then this market has everything. If it's not on the hundreds of stalls that ramble alongside the river and through indoor halls, which are really about six markets flowing into one, then it's in the many cafes and booths or just in the chatter and banter of the stallholders. Sit and sip a juice or a coffee and watch the boats drift along the canal. Eat your way around the world without leaving this small area of London. To me, these Camden Markets sum up London. Here you can see the fashionable and rich mix with the goths and punks. Here you find antiques and wonderful works of art to delight the senses and stretch the purse strings or you can make a little go a long way with such bargains as a string of glass beads for £1 and a carved wooden spooon for 50p. Go and enjoy.
