A city of infinite colour and variety, London is both richly historic, tracing its roots back over 2000 years, and unceasingly modern, at the forefront of fashion, music and the arts. There is a fantastic amount to interest and entertain the visitor here: a selection of the best of the best is explored here.

Bumbles sets the stage with upscale dining near the theatre district. Food presentation is elegant and contemporary. Seafood dishes are superb.

In a city of churchyards, Bunhill Fields is unusual in being a purpose-built graveyard. It holds the graves of several famous “dissenters” – Jonathan Swift, Daniel Defoe, John Bunyan, George Fox, William Blake—and is also a pleasantly relaxing enclave in the busy city.
Bunhill Fields sits on the northern edge of the City of London, opposite Wesley’s house and museum. Although it is not close to any of the City’s major tourist attractions (St. Paul’s, the Tower of London, the Museum of London, the Monument), its small quota of celebrity graves makes it a minor attraction in itself. It is also a pleasant, leafy, and quiet place to escape from the noise of the city.

This feels like the kind of bar you'd find in Barcelona down some dodgy alleyway but you'd visit once and you'd never want to leave! I love this place and wish it was my local. The table football is a major highlight but the drinks are fab and the atmosphere spot on.

Cute little Italian restaurant with friendly staff, reasonable prices and outside tables. Pasta and pizza in the evenings or tasty ciabatta sandwiches at lunch - the food isn't out of this world but this is a great find if you're on a budget in pricey Covent Garden.

If you like colour, bustle, shopping, browsing, eating, looking and an assault on the senses then this market has everything. If it's not on the hundreds of stalls that ramble alongside the river and through indoor halls, which are really about six markets flowing into one, then it's in the many cafes and booths or just in the chatter and banter of the stallholders. Sit and sip a juice or a coffee and watch the boats drift along the canal. Eat your way around the world without leaving this small area of London. To me, these Camden Markets sum up London. Here you can see the fashionable and rich mix with the goths and punks. Here you find antiques and wonderful works of art to delight the senses and stretch the purse strings or you can make a little go a long way with such bargains as a string of glass beads for £1 and a carved wooden spooon for 50p. Go and enjoy.

A slightly frosty reception but the food here is as good as always. Plus there's an upstairs as well so don't worry if it looks busy. Our waiter was friendly and made good wine and side dish suggestions. We'll be going again.
