  • Trail rides through woods, over hills, and across plains are offered, as are private lessons, children’s rides, and a carriage tour.

  • All levels of archers can take aim at the bright red, yellow, and blue targets mounted on straw bales. Private and group lessons are also offered.

  • The enjoyment of hunting without harming a live animal is the appeal of sporting clays, especially with high-tech targets that actually mimic different animals and birds.

  • Moloka’i Fish and Dive Co.

Your one-stop shop for fixing up any activity you can think of – from kayaking to biking, hiking to horseback riding, archery to paintball.

  • Moloka’i Mule Ride

One of the most unusual adventures in Hawai’i, visitors ride mules down 1,700 ft of steep and winding trail to the remote settlement of Kalaupapa (see Kalaupapa National Historical Park, Moloka’i). The entire tour takes a full day beginning at 8am.

  • One of the few companies offering guided tours on Moloka’i, with a choice of itineraries. Plan to spend at least half a day with your guide.

  • The one and only choice for sport fishing excursions off Lāna’i. Spinning Dolphin offers half- and full-day charters for up to six people.

  • The Challenge at Mānele

American golf legend Jack Nicklaus designed this awesome course, built on natural lava outcroppings overlooking the Mānele Bay Hotel, Hulopo’e Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. The 12th hole plays from a cliff 150 ft above the crashing surf and requires a demanding 200-yard tee shot across the ocean.

  • Designed by golf great Greg Norman and architect Ted Robinson, this award-winning championship course presents challenging fairways, creative water features, and a demanding signature hole that drops 200 ft to a wooded gorge.

  • This long-established pleasure boating company offers a range of on-the-water experiences, including sailing on a catamaran or cruising in a high-powered raft. You can snorkel, scuba, and kayak all year round, and watch whales in winter.
