  • 2. Hula Grill

This fabulous reproduction of a kama’āina beach house will transport you back to the gentility of 1930s’ Hawai’i. Favorites include ono and ahi steak, lemon-ginger roasted chicken, and banana barbecue ribs.

Burgers, salads, sandwiches, and plate lunches, along with yummy baked goods made right on the premises.

  • 4. Roy’s Kahana Bar & Grill

Roy Yamaguchi’s first Maui restaurant, serving up his trademark East-meets-West cuisine. Always bustling and busy, so book ahead.

The oceanfront location could not be better at this breakfast and lunch restaurant. Fantastic banana pancakes!

  • 6. Sea House Restaurant

Sample fresh sushi beside tranquil Nāpili Bay, or try the exquisite gingered pork loin. On Tuesday nights a hula show is presented by the children of the Nāpili Kai Foundation.

  • 7. Pizza Paradiso

A popular and award-winning spot for takeout or eat-in pizza, pasta, sandwiches, or desserts. Each slice of pizza weighs a pound. The tiramisu is wonderful.

  • 8. Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Amazing contemporary Japanese dishes, great service, and fun, fun, fun are perfectly blended.

  • 9. Vino

The food here is best described as Italian fare with island flair – mostly small plates for sampling and sharing. The wine list is unequaled.

  • 10. Plantation House Restaurant at Kapalua

It’s worth the drive to far Kapalua to sample Alex Stanislaw’s singular Mediterranean-influenced cuisine. The signature Rich Forest Fish a must!
