  • Are these details incorrect?
  • 1. News Café

Numero uno on Ocean Drive, it’s spacious and bustling, perfect for a drink, snack, or meal, and avid people-watching.

  • 2. Mango’s Tropical Café

Always hot, with upbeat music and a huge Floribbean menu. The action spills onto the sidewalk.

  • 3. Clevelander

Facing the beach and on the sidewalk, there’s always something going on here: listening to the live music, having something to eat, or just checking out the passersby.

  • 4. Van Dyke

In the heart of Lincoln Road Mall, this is a prime spot for viewing the street parade. A good place for breakfast or lunch. Live jazz upstairs.

  • 5. Starbucks

The Starbucks on Ocean Drive is predictably always busy. The outside tables are perfect for watching the world go by while enjoying an inexpensive snack and a coffee.

  • 6. Pelican Café

Grab a seat on the outdoor patio and indulge yourself, just as Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, and Johnny Depp have before you, in gawking at the SoBe procession and partaking of the Mediterranean-style delectables.

  • 7. Front Porch Café

Many consider the breakfast here to be the best in South Beach. The atmosphere’s homey, and the food’s definitely worth the wait.

  • 8. Larios on the Beach

Co-owned by pop Cuban songstress Gloria Estefan, it’s cocina cubana prepared SoBestyle. Try the appetizer sampler for starters and some rico mojitos (yummy rum drink with mint leaves).

  • 9. Terrace at the Tides

Very chic outdoor dining. Sit where celebrities have sat and tuck into the gourmet cooking: maybe lobster gazpacho or coconut mascarpone cheesecake.

  • 10. Wet Willie’s

This bar attracts a young, rowdy, post-beach crowd with its powerful frozen drinks with names such as Call Me a Cab. Nibbles to accompany the drinking include tasty fried calamari.
