Chateau Beauvallon
-
The Chateau Beauvallon is an absolutely amazing hotel tucked away in the deep snow of the Les Laurentides Mountains, Quebec. This is a place where you can check out the ranking on Trip Advisor (number 1 hotel in the area) and read all the good reviews on Expedia (average rating of 5 stars out of 5) and won't be disappointed. The inn itself is a gorgeously traditional Quebec-style collection of several lodges containing suites that overlook a bubbling hottub in the foreground and a big frozen lake behind that. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the fireplace in front of the sofa is a must for warming up after a day on the slopes of Mont Tremblant. Friendly staff that actually mean it when they say they want to help you have the best holiday, and don't ever seem like they are putting on a 'tips-please' fake smile. There is nothing I miss more than finishing the day by wallowing in the outdoor hottub, glass of wine in hand, with fat snowflakes drifting down around us. Pure bliss!
