  • B&B Villa San Gennariello

Beautiful bed and breakfast in the Vesuvian area. Very friendly family host you in their Bourbon-period villa, which used to be the hunting lodge of the Bourbon kings. Great location to visit Herculaneum or the other Vesuvian sites. http://www.villasangennariello.com/

  • Yes, I know, a chain hotel. But this one is different. All the facilities you could want: spa, private beach, extraordinarly comfortable rooms plus an amazing view of the Bay and Vesuvius over (an extremely plentiful) breakfast. Busses take you to the train station for Pompeii or, if you're really intrepid, you can hire a car and drive along the coast to Positano and Amalfi. The local town (again transport is available) has all the restaurants, pizzerias and souvenir shops you might need as well as plenty of the local wine which I can personally recommend.

  • Furore Inn Resort & Spa

I wanted just to let you know about this resort located in Furore, on the Amalfi Coast, between Praiano and Positano. The Resort, consists of a Hotel with 22 Rooms, 2 Restaurants, both à la carte, and both open to non residents, and a Beauty and Wellness Centre. Our website is : www.furoreinn.it. I thank you very much for your kind attention, and should you need any furtehr info, please do contact me. Sincerely, Alfonso Imperato

  • Hotel Villa San Michele

Villa San Michele at Ravello is the perfect spot to spend a relaxing holiday relishing the sea the sun and the views of the Amalfi Coast. A charming refuge from which the most attractive towns such as Amalfi, which is only one kilometer away, Positano , Sorrento and Capri can be easily reached.

This hotel, spottable from the sea thanks to the predominance of blue and white of a Mediterranean house, is built upon the rocks and in perfect harmony with nature. It’s situated in a beautiful garden and following a private route, it takes only few minutes to reach the sea. The air and the eyes are filled with the fragrances and colours of the lemons and bouganvilles creating the right atmosphere for a romantic stay.

  • This is a great little pensione, with lots of old-style, traditonal Italian atmosphere and lovely staff. It's a bargain for the location: in Vomero, on a hill, overlooking the sea with views towards Capri from some of the rooms. Vomero is much quieter than most districts in Naples yet it's only a short (and not to be missed) ride into town on the funicolare.

  • Very good budget accom. Many of their (10) rooms have a terrace, awesome views. Cheaper style accom though for the budget traveller. But clean, comfortable beds etc, good, helpful staff. Good location. (Just 400 steps down to the beach!). Via Fornillo 42, Positano Positano 84017, Italy.

  • Pietra Donica Bed and Breakfast

A 1700 farmhouse converted into a romantic bed and breakfast. Located in the centre of Forio on the island of Ischia. Restaurants and bus stops are within easy walking distance and the owner is extremely friendly. He speaks English, although does let you practise your Italian on him.
