The new Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx. It is a home stadium for a NY team, the New York Yankees. Many great athletes such as Babe Ruth, Joe Dimaggio and Yogi Berra have played in the old stadium but it was closed in 2008 and the new one unveiled in 2009. It is very spacious with improved seating and many amenities. Choices of food vary from the traditional hot dogs and peanuts to the very exotic and unusual for basebal: sushi. To see the New York Yankees play in their home stadium is an experience each person shoud experience once even if you have no interest in the sport itself. As one becomes part of the baseball family of fans, it is hard to resist the urge to cheer on the players yourself.
