Follow the footsteps of Carrie & the girls and visit: Carrie's stoop: 66 Perry Street. You can't sit on the stoop as it's cordoned off by a rope but it's still worth the trip Magnolia bakery: 401 Bleecker Street for scrumpcious cupcakes. Near Carrie's stoop. Expect a cue to get in. Gansevoort street: Street where Samantha lives. Great for restaurants and nightlife. One of the best Thai restauants in which I have ever eaten. Great atmosphere and modern Thai food. I recommend this to all my friends when they go to New York

Fabulous place to take a break and grab a really good value snack and a drink. Excellent specials and the warm cider was to die for on an icy January day.
STATEN ISLAND FERRY

NEW YORK is fantastic,I've been many times but there aren't many things to do for free in NYC. I would like to recommend the Staten Island Ferry.Yes,it's free and offers fantastic views of the NYC Skyline.There is a ferry every half an hour and I think it runs 24 hours between Battery Park and Staten Island.
Stone Rose Lounge

For the best views of Central Park, hit this upscale lounge located in the impressive Time Warner center. Drinks are over-priced, but the service is excellent and the views are nothing short of amazing. The lounge is busy everynight, so arrive early to get a table by the windows.
