New York

With its skyscrapers, great museums, and bright lights of Broadway, New York is a city of superlatives. There are countless sights that have to be seen, but a handful are truly definitive of the city. These highlights illustrate the very best.

  • Savoy

This is a really cute little restaurant with outstanding food.

  • Follow the footsteps of Carrie & the girls and visit: Carrie's stoop: 66 Perry Street. You can't sit on the stoop as it's cordoned off by a rope but it's still worth the trip Magnolia bakery: 401 Bleecker Street for scrumpcious cupcakes. Near Carrie's stoop. Expect a cue to get in. Gansevoort street: Street where Samantha lives. Great for restaurants and nightlife. Columbus circle fountain: Where Carrie breakes up with Aidan Boating lake, Central Park: Where Carrie and Mr Big fall in the water Bethesda fountain, Central Park: Carrie sits here in one of the early episodes (and the real vogue photo shoot was shot on the steps) New York Library: Location of Carrie's almost wedding

  • One of the best Thai restauants in which I have ever eaten. Great atmosphere and modern Thai food. I recommend this to all my friends when they go to New York

  • Sports Museum of America

The Sports Museum of America, set to open in April 2008 in Lower Manhattan, will be the nation's first comprehensive sports museum-attraction. In association with over 60 single-sport museums, halls of fame and other sports organizations across North America, SMA will have inspiring memorabilia, films, multi-media displays and interactive exhibits. SMA will also be the new home of the Heisman Trophy and the first women's sports hall of fame, the Billie Jean King International Women's Sports Center. • Fabulous place to take a break and grab a really good value snack and a drink. Excellent specials and the warm cider was to die for on an icy January day.

  • NEW YORK is fantastic,I've been many times but there aren't many things to do for free in NYC. I would like to recommend the Staten Island Ferry.Yes,it's free and offers fantastic views of the NYC Skyline. There is a ferry every half an hour and I think it runs 24 hours between Battery Park and Staten Island.

  • Stone Rose Lounge

For the best views of Central Park, hit this upscale lounge located in the impressive Time Warner center. Drinks are over-priced, but the service is excellent and the views are nothing short of amazing. The lounge is busy everynight, so arrive early to get a table by the windows.

  • Sunflower Fine Art

Perhaps the most "comprehensive art Gallery in America", they consistently endeavor to accomodate and satisfy even the most discerning of clients. Gallery offers a vast and marvelous selection of:

Posters, oil paintings, prints, watercolors, limited editions, art jewelry, sculpture photographs, etchings, vintage posters by all major artists . They ship any selections right to your door!

  • A traditional place to have a brunch with live gospel on Harlem. Southern soul food.

  • Tao

The largest and most popular Asian restaurant in New York City. Famous for its film debut in Will Smith's "Hitch," this restaurant serves up a range of Asian food. A giant (two story) Budha is centerpiece in this midtown eatery.
