This club offers lively techno, rave, and house dance beats. The best time to go is on the weekends, especially Saturday nights when there is a big crowd and occasional live acts.

Once named top club in the US by Rolling Stone magazine, The Club occupies the sprawling interior of one of Orlando’s oldest buildings. The magic ingredients (vast size, an awe-inspiring light and sound system, and an international DJ lineup) still make this the best night out in Orlando. The Club attracts a mixed crowd that is very gay-friendly. The sounds runs from trance to hip-hop to Latin, depending on the night of the week.

Ensconced within a former Firestone garage, this giant venue has long been rated one of the southeast’s top dance clubs, particularly with gays, ravers, and all types trendy. Although gay-only nights are gone, the Club continues to pump out house, hip-hop, and trance music for “the community.” The upstairs Glass Chamber is a relaxing chill-out room with comfy couches.

This powerhouse dance club has slamming DJs, as well as several quiet chill-out lounges.

The Peacock’s jazzy ambience is a welcome respite from the thump of techno. This is a small, stylish lounge in the heart of Orlando’s gay-friendly ViMi district. The decor is muted Art Deco and a small jazz band often plays. The cool vibe also attracts straights, making for a nice mix.
-
Orlando’s best club for live music, bar none. The stage hosts an incredible variety of performers, from jazz to electronica.
-
The Social (formerly known as Sapphire) serves up an eclectic mix of live music. Sounds range from alternative rock to funk, jazz, and dance, with local DJs also gracing the club’s legendary stage. For years, the club’s policy of booking top national touring acts meant it was the shining light of Orlando’s live music scene. Competition from much larger clubs is stiffer now, but this tiny spot, with its stylishly raw decor, remains O-Town’s favorite spot to enjoy live music.
-
This tiny dive has earned a reputation among local musicians for being one of the best-loved music clubs in town, with a line-up of punk, ska, and alternative rock bands. The back room stage is small and the ceiling low, but the PA is loud and the beer list huge. The front room has a pool table, and there’s a patio out front in case fresh air is required.
-
Wylde’s is a great place for gay men to enjoy an evening of lively entertainment and mixing and mingling. The club has many theme evenings, including a fun karaoke night and country music night. Men wearing underwear get happy hour prices for drinks. The club also has dancers, billiards and darts.
-
The ultimate games room is in this entertainment mecca, with DJs, bars, food, and over 110 of the latest interactive games. Their motto? “Too much is not enough.”
