  • Live outdoor reggae music is the big draw here, and the bands are often excellent.

  • Settle into the 1930s and visit Al Capone’s notorious speakeasy, a place where pseudo-mobsters and their molls entertain guests with a lot of song and dance. The all-you-can-eat buffet offers pasta, sausage with peppers and onions, baked chicken and ham, vegetables, potatoes, and whatever beer, wine, coffee, iced tea and sodas you care to drink.

  • Enjoy songs and marshmallows around a campfire, which are followed by a different Disney movie every night. It is open to all – just park at the River Country entrance and take the bus to the party.

  • This beautiful and acoustically vibrant room emulates the big, urbane jazz supper clubs of the past.

  • A little piece of England, with European soccer on the TVs, darts, and nearly 20 ales, lagers, bitters, and stouts on tap. Blues bands sometimes perform.

  • By night, this “seaside” boardwalk is thronged with guests enjoying the buzzing vibe and some great restaurants and clubs.

  • Probably Disney’s best spot for night owls, with lots of bars and clubs to choose from.

  • Central Florida’s only full-time art-house cinema is a unique venue – its single-screen, 250-seat house is arranged like a dinner theater, with waiters serving food and drinks (including beer and wine). Featuring foreign and American independents, and with regular special-interest festivals, plus the Florida Film Festival, this is a place for true cinephiles.

  • One of the best spots in town to see live music (national/local rock and R&B acts), with a top-notch sound system.

  • Hard Rock Live

The ying to HOB’s yang, Hard Rock has a more comfortable room, with balcony seating and good stage views. The grand ballroom decor is more apropos for acts that want to perform in an elegant setting, so it’s not surprising that top R&B artists such as Maxwell and Erykah Badu play here. The Hard Rock schedule is more erratic, with fewer top name bookings.
