You didn't have a choose your own destination, so I had to pick Orlando, the closest to Key Largo. Largo Lodge is the best kept secret in the keys. You can barely find it for the vegetation in front of the sign, go down a long spooky driveway, heavily planted with native plants, and there you find 6 little cottages, with kitchens, screen porches, and a big dock where you can watch the sunset.

This is a lovely place filled with old style traditional american shops and eateries. You can't miss the place as it has a big ferris wheel outside! There are some great shops with classic american souvenirs and I remember a diner called the cadillac diner which had a hue pink cadillac inside!
Pink Cadillac Diner, Old Town

Head to the Pink Cadillac Diner in Old town for a truly authentic experience complete with a huge pink cadillac inside the diner. The food is great and the atmospehere spot on, you feel like you're in the film Grease!!
Sand Pipers Villas

1980's style villas, with lots of flowery and laura ashley style influence. Quiet and peaceful. There's a golf course running through the centre of the complex.
