ArtusHôtel

Indulge yourself in the food shops of the Rue de Buci (see Cacao et Chocolat), then indulge yourself back in this hotel – especially if you have booked the suite with a Jacuzzi from which there are great views of the Latin Quarter.
Aviatic Hôtel

A homely hotel that bubbles with the atmosphere of the Left Bank. Ask them to pack a picnic for you for a romantic stroll around the nearby Jardin du Luxembourg.
Balzac

Fashionably chic, this luxurious hotel has a restaurant and a basement bar, both popular with locals. The 56 rooms and 14 apartments are simply but tastefully decorated, with terraced suites offering great views of the Eiffel Tower.
Best Western Premier Royal Saint Michel

This is the hotel to stay when in Paris. It is perfect for exploring, as the RER B line and metro line 4 are within steps of the front entrance. It is also a short walk to metro line 1. The staff is helpful and speak excellent English. There are 100s of restaurants in the St. Michel area. The Louvre and Notre Dame are both within walking distance. There is an ATM/bank directly across the street and a real french bakery just around the corner. They have reliable high speed internet. The rooms are small, yet comfortable and clean.
Brighton

Enjoy the rue de Rivoli location without paying the usual prices. This old hotel is slowly being renovated, so try to get one of the newer rooms with a view over the Tuileries opposite (see Jardin des Tuileries).
Bristol

Prices reflect the luxury standards and location, close to the fashionable shops of St-Honoré, and near the Elysée palaces (see Champs-Elysées Quarter). Rooms are large and fitted out with antique furniture and marble bathrooms.
Ermitage Hôtel

A wonderful family-run hotel in Montmartre. Some rooms have views over the city, others overlook a garden, and the furniture is antique or repro.
Fleurie

Children under-12 stay free in this smart but lively St-Germain hotel, and those over 12 can have an extra bed in their parents’ room for a small charge. Satellite TV and PC connections in each room, and a huge buffet breakfast.
Four Seasons George V

Recently modernized to great effect, all the rooms have been upgraded, while retaining certain features like the panelled Bar Anglais. The revamped restaurant, Le Cinq, has become one of “the” places to eat.
Grand Hôtel Jeanne d’Arc

You could pass a whole weekend in without wandering far from this well-equipped hotel, surrounded as it is by Marais attractions.
