Grand Hôtel Lévêque
-
The only thing grand about this hotel is its name, but it remains a favourite with those needing budget accommodation in Paris. Despite the price, almost all rooms have fans, phone, TV, hairdryer and even a modem socket.

This is a modest hotel with a fantastic location right on the lovely pedestrian only market steet of Rue Cler, within very easy walking distance to the Effiel Tower and , by Paris standards, quite affordable. Rick Steves recommends the hotel so it is popular with his legions of fans. When we stayed there we were lucky enough to get a fourth floor street side room with a view of the Effiel Tower and easy viewing of the street life. This is not a hotel for those with high expectations for luxury and style but it is very serviceable choice. Enjoy.
