"The Princely Collections" at Lobkowicz Palace

This was the best museum in Prague! I stumbled into it one day when I was freezing cold and spent a whole afternoon marveling at the fabulous artifacts and the interesting stories told by members of the Lobkowicz family via the earphone device that is provided free of charge with museum admission. This is a must see for any visitor to Prague and you must include it in your next edition of the Eyewitness Travel Guide.
A-Apartments Wenceslas Square

These apartments had a fantastic central location, and were excellent value for money. The one-bedroom we stayed in had everything you could need for a short city break and was big enough to have accommodated a whole group of people. Would definately recommend to the budget traveller!
Andels Hotel

Lovely, modern hotel. Big spacious rooms, with a contemporary feel. Great buffet breakfast, with lots of choice!

Artel

Artel's flagship store is situated in the heart of Old Town. While the highlight is a dovecote wall filled with the company's exquisite crystal (mouth-blown and hand-engraved in the Czech Republic), the boutique also features books, jewelry, one-of-a-kind design objects and "found" objects--from antique books to toys and Bohemian textiles.
Cloister Inn

A building with a fascinating history - it was occupied by the Secret Police during the communist regime and later a convent. The hotel is great for anyone travelling to Prague who doesn't want cheap and cheerful but would also prefer to spend their money on beer, goulash and garnets than a hotel...a brilliant mid-price option.

Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are lovely. They vary from a typical one bedroom to mini suites and, in the older part of the hotel, huge rooms with masses of space.

Only a five minute walk to the Old Town Square and with great bars, restaurants and shops to pass on the way, the Cloister Inn is a brilliant choice for a Prague holiday.

Hotel Praha

In 1981, after five years of construction, the Czechoslovak government officially inaugurated Hotel Praha, but not everyone would be able to stay at this luxury hotel, incorporating the most modern technologies of its day and forming a broad cantilevered S-curve on a hilltop in the city's finest residential neighborhood. Hotel Praha was purpose-built for the exclusive use of high-level political delegations from Eastern Block countries and their allies. Today, the hotel is privately owned and got through major reconstruction and modernization. New owners kept original design and décor of the building. Like the lair of a James Bond villain, Hotel Praha included an acre of marble in the lobby, a heliport, bulletproof glass, and a garden villa for Leonid Brezhnev’s romantic assignations. It is cool place to stay!

I have travelled a lot around this great planet of ours and this is definately one of the quietest hotels I've stayed in,not because it was empty but because there weren't any inconsiderate guests slamming doors all night,unlike most of the other hotels I've stayed at around the world.

Sits on the banks of the Danube, it is an absolutely stunning builidng that was built in Budapest in a Gothic Style
