This clean, medium-sized camp site is near a sandy beach. The site has an indoor and outdoor pool, a children’s play area, its own cinema, bar, shop and restaurant, and pétanque (boules) and tennis courts nearby.

The best thing about this enormous, 4-star full-service camp site is its location, just outside Antibes, minutes from the sea and with a local railway station with frequent connections into Cannes. An excellent choice for families.
-
This small camp site amid olive trees on a hillside is within easy reach of Cannes and Antibes but is in a very quiet location. It has a simple snack restaurant and bar, but the main attraction is the swimming pool, on a terrace with panoramic views.
-
There are numerous camp sites in and around Castellane but this is the best of the bunch. It is close enough to shops and restaurants to be convenient, but far enough away to be untroubled by noise or traffic. The site is surrounded by fields and wooded hills, and the views are terrific. Facilities include a large swimming pool, small supermarket and a friendly, value-for-money restaurant. Cabins are also available.
-
A cheap and cheerful alternative to St Tropez’s hotels – with better facilities too, including a mini-golf course, children’s play area, restaurant and snack bar.
-
This 2-star camp site has a small pool, and tents are pitched under shady trees.
-
This 2-star site is spartan, but worth it for the views along the coast. There is a snack-restaurant and bar.
-
The Carlton is a Cannes landmark, home of the stars during the Film Festival and appropriately luxurious, with its own private beach and high standards of service. Part of an international chain, it retains an individual character.
-
The wonderful Chèvre d’Or perches high above the sea, looking out over clifftop battlements in this beautifully preserved castle-village. Rooms all have a panoramic views and each one is elegantly decorated with antiques. The hotel has three fine restaurants (see Chèvre d’Or, Eze) and two breathtakingly pretty pools.
-
On the outskirts of the village, this seaside palace has its own private beach and a swimming pool and is certainly among the nicest places to stay on this fashionable part of the coast.
