Il Gattopardo Relais

A small (6 rooms) 'boutique' hotel situated a 10 minute walk away from the Vatican. Quite hard to find from the outside as it is situated on the second floor of an appartment/office building and in a row of shops/ building societies, banks etc -lovely inside (lots of marble etc). The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was very nice.

Elegant Indian restaurant, a cut above the rest. The food is superbly prepared in north-Indian style.

Businessmen and Cinecittà film directors patronize this Prati restaurant named after the spicy bacon-and-tomato pasta sauce. Try to sit outside in summer.

The speciality here is delicious pizza, and the focaccia bread is among Rome’s best.
