I stayed at this amazing little B&B in Rome last year. There are now two sites in the city, I stayed in the one just five minutes from the Vatican. From the outside and communal areas it looks like any large Italian apartment building with a central well and old fashioned lift. Once you step through the front door however, you enter a world of minimalist calm very unlike the average B&B. This is like staying in a hotel but without the steep prices. Clean, bright, comfortable rooms with smart bathrooms made a relaxing break from the traffic noise and tourists. An absolutely huge breakfast sets you up for the day and prepares you for the long queue to get into the Vatican. Thoroughly recommended.

  • These apartments are situated in a quiet street which has the Vatican at one end and Castell Sant Angelo at the other - each only minutes' walk away! The apartments are spotlessly clean and simply furnished, and are very spacious. Basic kitchen facilities mean that it is possible to go self-catering (there is a supermarket at the end of the road), but the apartments are off a street which has a number of good restaurants, frequented by locals and tourists alike. The reception is staffed for limited hours during the day, but the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

  • Casale dei Cedri Resort

Casale dei Cedri is a19th century villa near Saint Peter’s Basilica and Villa Pamphili.

It has a private park of 30.000 square meters with a beautiful Italian garden and a swimming pool. The resort has the comfort of a house with all the facilities of a hotel, for who wants an exclusive journey in Rome.

At the first floor we provide 3 bedrooms, each one with a different personality.

Please note that there is no lift to first floor.

  • Lovely Hotel in a great location.

  • Holiday Apartments Rome

A private apartment / vacation home in Italy is actually a real opportunity to combine an accommodation in Rome at affordable prices with an incomparable location in the heart of the city between monuments and attractions. By booking an apartment you are able to view directly on-site all the details (type of rooms, amenities, distances, best sightseeing tours in the area,..) without unpleasant surprises.

Our apartments are all elegantly furnished, fully equipped with every comfort and well serviced. All our properties are carefully selected, controlled and managed exclusively by us directly. We guarantee that the proposed flats meet our standards of quality in terms of location and services.

Moreover you can take advantage of all our additional services (booking museums, restaurants, guided tours, where to eat in rome, and information regarding major events and best places to visit in Rome in the period requested) for a pleasant stay in complete freedom. In addition we are used to, upon request, prepare a mini Rome Travel Guide with all the information needed to live the city and the specific area chosen.

Leon Holiday Apartments suggest to their guest a list the best restaurants in Rome, in the vicinity of our holiday apartments. Each of the central areas of the city where we are present is characterized by its own traditions and typical restaurants / pizzerias. Make sure to try these restaurants and trattorias during your visit in Rome...I think good food makes traveling even more enjoyable!

To more information see the web portal http://www.leonholidayapartments.com The stay has been cheaper and more comfortable than in the Hotel. I suggest everyone who is planning a trip to Rome to rent their apartment.

  • Hotel Genio

Via Zanardelli n° 28. Hotel Genio Rome is a five stories neo-renassaince building, completely renewed with a wonderful terrace on the top where you can have an overlook of the whole center of Rome and its monuments.

  • This is a small family run hotel situated beside the Collosseum and within walking distance of the Domus Aurea, the Forum and the Palatine. It's convenience is matched by it's relaxed yet efficient atmosphere and it's friendly staff, who are directed by the owner, Mrs.Khan in person. I have to go back!

  • Hotel Mercure Delta Colosseo

It may look a bit modern but the surroundings could hardly be more ancient. You can see the colosseum as soon as you step out of the door and its only a short walk in the other direction to St John Lateran, the parish church of Rome. The ideal place to be if you don't fancy playing sardines on the city's public transport.
