  • This lovely little restaurant serves Latin / South American cuisine (not Tex-Mex) at affordable prices, and it seems to be undiscovered by tourists! We only saw locals when we enjoyed our paella dinner and piping hot cornbread loaf! The restaurant features an intimate outdoor patio and an indoor dining area decorated with colorful glass art from the glass-blowing studios next door. Our food was delicious, piping hot and very attractively presented. Service was first rate! This is a casual place, but on a busy weekend night you'll definitely need reservations. We live 5 hours away and I'm ready to drive to San Antonio to visit this restaurant again soon! Avoid the over-priced and over-hyped River Walk restaurants. Just one mile from the downtonw area, Azuca will offer you an enjoyable and delicious dining experience.
