Seattle

Over the last decade, Seattle has blossomed into a bustling powerhouse of influence, steering the future of high technology as well as popular culture. The population of this vibrant metropolis is fueled by the latest in software, espresso drinks, music, and visual art that’s often as far on the leading edge as the city itself. Seattle has emerged as one of the most attractive cities in the United States, with an ever-changing skyline that reflects the pioneering spirit that brought settlers here in the mid-19th century.

  • Old style burger bar, with branches over town. This one has no seating, so you just order from the booth, and stand up. Very Happy Days! The fries are fresh, the burgers actually taste healthy and treat yourself, go for one of the hand dipped milk shakes. All for less than $6 with tax! A steal!

  • The newest addition to Seattle's luxury hotel scene. Interior is very modern and sleek with contemporary artwork throughout. Most rooms are nice-sized and many have great views of the waterfront...with ferrys and the Olympic mountains in the distance. Located very near the Seattle Art Museum and the Pike Place Market, etc.

  • The Andra is a delightful, stylish hotel in a terrific location. It is central for most Seattle attractions, shopping and dining - we walked almost everywhere. The lobby is very welcoming and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Bedrooms are attractively furnished; some bathrooms are on the small side but nothing to get upset about. Rates are very reasonable and there are some good deals to be had. Highly recommended.

  • Located at Boeing Field (South Seattle) and next to Interstate 5 (West side), the Museum contains not only restored aircraft but also the early workshops of the Boeing Company. There is also a restaurant and giftshop. During Summer months plane rides are also available just outside the main entrance doors which face the still functional Boeing Field runways.

  • Pyramid Brewery & Restaraunt

This wonderful brewery is located next to Seattle's baseball & football fields. It is a great place to have a hand-crafted beer and a great meal. The place has a good vibe and is always a good place to go for happy hour.

  • A tour that takes you to the original 1st floor of many older buildings. The second floor became the first floor after the city decided to raise its streets after flooding. Very interesting.
