Beautiful recently restored historic farmhouse with swimming pool in middle of Tuscan countryside. Amazing view of nearby hilltop village. Seven independent apartments. Lots of wonderful local eating: olive oil, wine, cheese, etc all produced locally. Lots to do for those who want nature (its on the slopes of Monte Amiata with national nature parks) or culture (every Tuscan town has something beautiful!)

My family and I stayed at the Agriturismo Castagnatello Farmhouse for two weeks in My family and I stayed at the Agriturismo Castagnatello for two weeks in July and were very impressed. The apartments were brand new and spotless, the view from the balcony was stunning and the hosts very welcoming. The fact that they spoke perfect English also helped, as they could easily suggest places for us to visit and food (and drinks) for us to try out. We loved the Val d'Orcia area and the food+wine were superb! Should we be going back to Tuscany, we will definitely stay there again! Martin (Bristol)
