Superb restaurant just off the Strada Nova , along Fondamenta San Felice , run by the friendly Paolo Lazzari and his sister . Very popular with Venetians , very busy so booking essential . The food is amazing , lots of tasty venetian seafood . Service is friendly and efficient . A definite "must " if you are visiting Venice for a couple of days .

we went to this restaurant just on the strength of this review and wholeheartedly agree. they also own another restaurant of quite different character on the opposite canalside, also extremely good and quite different character. Both expensive, but isn't all Venice! The other restaurant was more obviously full of Italian families and Italian couples. Delightful.
