  • Hotel Marconi

Popular hotel by Rialto Bridge, with outside seating reserved for guests. Warm reception though simple rooms.

  • Discerning style, maximum comfort (Jacuzzi in all rooms) and breathtaking views. Great care is taken with details in this slender tall palace.

  • You could hardly wish for a more central location in Verona, just around the corner from the Arena. Nothing exceptional, but friendly and clean. Guest parking available.

  • Apart from one special room with its own verandah, most rooms rate average in terms of comfort here. However the location is excellent, in a quiet alley close to the railway station.

  • Great-value lodgings on this garden island where sea breezes are ensured. They arrange canoe trips, bicycles, picnic lunches and half board, entailing mainly vegetarian meals with locally grown produce.

  • A modernized, converted convent with vast courtyards to wander around. Automatic distributing machines for snacks and drinks, otherwise it’s not far to the Zattere. There’s a midnight curfew.

  • Close to the sunny Zattere, this religious-trade institution has new modern rooms with bath. Book in advance.

  • A bit out of the way, but it is only a short walk to the main sights. The hostel also benefits from a surprisingly beautiful setting in an ornamental grassy square.

  • This recently opened hostel is located just outside Venice in a lovely country setting. Car parking is available. All linen is provided. Closed October to February.

  • A cheery, helpful hostel close to both the town’s main Tourist Office and the Teatro Olimpico (see Teatro Olimpico). Meals available at a special low price at a neighbouring bar and restaurant. Internet point and bike hire available. Closed one month in winter.
