Baroque architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach constructed this house in the late 17th century and in 1898 it was turned into a hotel. Famous guests have included the writer Mark Twain, actress Marlene Dietrich and composer Franz Lehár. It is still one of Vienna’s most charming hotels.
