  • Federal-style townhouse serving a medley of lamb, oysters, and other dishes.

  • Excellent American food. The elegant townhouse is divided into five themed rooms, and was popular with President Clinton.

  • An enormous restaurant with an enormous menu – over 100 entrées – spread over three stories of Union Station and on to a walkway in good weather. Traditional American fare, such as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, to New American cuisine.

  • The atrium of the Museum of Natural History is six stories high, and the food is also good. Live jazz played on Friday nights (see National Museum of Natural History).

  • Billed as “the nation’s finest jazz and supper club.” The food includes steak, shrimp, and pasta. Reservations essential.
